After delicious breakfast it was time to go quad driving. It was nearby. Evelina found it exciting, very exciting. for me it was also first time, that's why Evelina had to go with Edwin on bike. After first etap I could take her over, that guys could do their rally through bushes. It was nice trail. Evelina was afraid all little bumbs and speedings, until I told her that this is quite a same than crossing with horse at forest. Suddenly she started to like it. hahah! not screaming my ears out at every hobble. ...keep on, we jump! hahha ha! mindfuck helps! Unfortunately Edwin's quad broke down after rally part and he had to go same bike with old guy. wel, it was almost at the end, so he didn't loose so much fun. back at bushwise we could take it easy before leaving. packing luggages, relaxing by swimmingpool, making a walk along the riverroad. This time not so much animals seen. It was midday and hot. Morning we had big antilopes and zebras walking in garden though. around 1 o'clock we desided to go toward Swaziland. it was only 80km. roads were empty, hardly no-one. sunday, relaxed driving. When we reached Mosambic border Edwin got a telefonecall from Johannesburg. ????? hmmm...what is that now? it was Bidvest, carrental asking where we were heading. They were afraid that we take over and go to Mosambic. wel, we told them to check papers and see that we go to Swaziland. that permit paper they wrote us themselves. then it was ok. I saw already before, when I was planning few days Mosambik tour, that permit to take car there, was almost impossible or costed lot of money. supposed to pay 500 euros, just for permit, when car rent costed 340€ for 8 days. ridicilous. also visas wered too expensive and that's why I cancelled whole thing. We heard later that roads are really bad there and accidents happens, because locals can't drive. That's why you can hire only 4wd to go over. Now I was happy for it, because time of travelling with all these kilometers was more than enough. Before border of swaziland Edwin wanted to get some cash. He stopped at one little village, black village; no white men to see. We stopped by tankstation, in front of cash automate, but something told us to reconsider. Edwin asked me 3 times what to do? I saw guardian walking back and forth in front of automates, I didn't see suspecting people, but still. I told him not to step out from a car. we'd continue without cash. we'll see then. puuh! Not nice feeling. We arrive to border. Little buildings both sides but hardly signs where to go. Taking paper there, other here...russian way, haha! it was quiet! First they we checking birthcertificate of Miska. No father to find, but them she desided not to make problem out of it. We've been already South-Africa. good! wed had to pay toll 50Rand, nothing more. We drove out and it was clean, empty and roads good condition. What a difference! We could relax again. We stopped at supermarket and went to toilet at tankstation there. People were friendly. Guy at kassa told that he has new friend... Miska, saw his fudoshin-do shirt and showed respect. Edwin makes it little bit bigger and tells Miska to be Nethetlands champion at his class. hihihi! We had bodyguard with us! People were smiling and curious to see us. Completely other approching that South-Africa. We got some drinks, but unfortunately no sugarfree cola or anything. Lot of water then. We arrived to our place to stay. Nice placed with houses and big swimmingpool, with freezing cold water though. Wifi worked and sometimes not. Miska was not feeling so good. Didn't want to go swimming, told that he has seen enough water already. hahaha! Evelina instead wanted to dip in, but didn't dare, because all the rest of people were local; black people. Kids wanted to Evelina to come to play with them. She ran away every time they approached and I had to tell them give her some time and space and she will come. and I had to make clear for her that skincolor doesn't matter, they don't bite, but they want to be friends! but I'm so white...was answer of Evelina. hop, now, just jump in and finally she did. Next moment they were doing swimming competition with black girl. They had fun and she was shining! So happy she had new friend! Sun was gone down and restaurant was open. we went to eat. Miska wanted to have some pizza, but unfortunately no salami or ham avable. They had problems with delivers. We took some grilled meat. delicious! and bottle of red wine, Green Merlot. so nice soft taste wine ( 14% though, but you couldn't taste it). this fun cost us hardly 10 euro pp all in. can't complain. nice experience!
