Mlilwake natural reserve

Before twilight we arrive to gates of Mlilwake nature reserve. I went dealing with papers and entree. could speek kids free ( until 12 years) ;) we drove inside and followed sigs to rest camp. I was doupting if this was right place. It was breathtakingly beautiful landscape. How we thought Kruger to be like. This is Africa! savanna at mountain side, zeebras, different antiloops, warthorns, gnus grassing around you. After 3 km we arrived to the camp. wouwh! There these wild animals were walking between people without any fear; in peace and ful harmony. Most people we heard talking were nederlands, also girl Bella, who came straight away to make friends with Evelina. cabanna was cozy, but evening cooled fast off. edwin got some beer and cider from little shop by reseption. I ordered us dinner buffet. then saw 2 wardthorns walking into a fireplace. really, not only nearby, but really laying on ashes. It looked so comisch! and guess what we had in menu? grilled pork. Miska was dieing to laugh. hahaha! Food was very nice, we sat near lake watching crocodfiles swimming along. Relaxing with bottle of our favorite wine. wonderful! After dinner we went to warm up by fireplace. now pigs were there...between 20 people who sat arround fireplace. After few minutes I got to hear that there was another Finn. oh nooo, wel had to go to say hello! She was nice and working for reseach east sea...wel, there we few hours making wordl better place. actually was very relaxing, once and suddenly speak your own language with somebody sameliked. Doesn't happen often, if ever. oh, but what is it cold at night. no heating in cabanna and it was almost freezing. we got breakfast which costed us 120 rand/pp, evelina half price. The Bumbas were still sleeping by barbeque, now 4 of them. That was just so humorous to see. I could just knee in front them, 30 centimeter away from them. could touch, but didn't dare. saw that yesterday they were bit irritated of Edwin's wawing hand and they gave little warning. Even though, after that he just closed his eyes and continue sleeping. Miska wanted to go mountain biking, so we did. 1 hour bicycling between zeepras, gnus, antiloops crocodiles and hippos. wau! but I moticed that they notices us more than if we were driving with car. By lake I lost chain and then it felt little bit unsafe to stop just in front of the sign at narrow road going over the lake, which says; be ware of crocodiles and stay away from long grass near waterside! But happily no crocodile there. one was lying just 50m further taking some sun together with one of the huge Moto-Motos! we were not cold anymore, haha! We didn't want to leave too late, never knew traffic. we had long drive ahead. Evelina did some driving practising while we drove out from park. She was stearing and Edwin dealed with gas and break. it went super! Road to witbank was boring and signs: DO not stop. hight crimerisk didn't sound so good. What Edwin did, he wanted to stop and he did by board of Ermelo, Amsterdam. He wanted to change his short trousers on. Just asking from his if he really wanted to do it just hier and now? He had missed the sign. and he thought even that it was not so serious. But later we heard from willem and Marge? that it IS so bad! when you see all fences and poorts and chains arouns houses, you just don't feel safe. What is going on here? situation has got worse and worse last 20 years. maybe Edwin wil write about it own section here.
